edit: A lot of people have been asking questions about the symbol, NO it is not the nazi symbol, The nazis took the original symbol from buddist religion and inverted it.

~bishoujosteph found out this cool fact:
In the manga, the symbol on Neji's forehead was one symbolizing Buddha. However, because it looked so much like a swastika, it was changed to an "X" in the anime. On a similar note, the American Shonen Jump edited the image in the manga as well to resemble that of the anime.


I was about 3/4 done this painting when i realized that the face I was drawing was just wrong for some unknown reason. After like 15 minutes of inspectiion i realized that in the ref photo, her face is slightly TILTED to the right. Only very slightly so that a normal look would see that its pretty straight, but when drawing it, EVERYTHING goes splat. I then spent a couple of hours just moving stuff around, which was a B!tch to do cause all my skin tones and shading just went down the drain and I had to Uber smooth places out again. T_T

My eyes are like uber tired now, after reading sooo many novels in Driver's ed (yes it was that boring) + CGing >0<

Anyways, I was browsing some cosplay galleries and saw that original photo, and immediately I knew I had to try drawing it, its like wow. Who-ever did this cosplay is really good <3, of course this picture was edited by photoshop (eyes, the brightness, skin etc).
