First completed picture in close to 2 months, though I dont see much improvement >.<
I tried to use lots of colours, but it got harder and harder to match up the many colours and how they interact. In the end I just used some repetitive colours for some minor things, guess i got lazy.
I didnt do a background for this one cause i wanted to focus on the dancer, I'm not sure if this colour is the exact colour of the DA background, my brightness might be off >.>

Honestly, I think the work on this is gorgeous. I think the repetative color on some of the details works in the picture's favor, because it draws the eyes to the places that are different -- more specifially, the eyes and the ribbon. And on my monitor it looks like you matched up the DA color.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Love is moronic.
Hate is idiotic.
Both are stubborn...
Both are weak...
One gives and lives,
One takes and hates.
Love is an excuse.
Hate is the answer.
Love is a lie.
Hate is the truth.

Man I'm jealous of your cg.

Does it all simply end in a blanket of darkness
And what of my soul?
